Every Voice
The DVD Every Voice was launched at the 2007 Vice-Chancellor’s Colloquium. It was produced in collaboration with Professor Ian Lang of the Victorian College of the Arts and Dr Sophie Arkoudis of the Centre for the Study of Higher Education. The issue of English language competence is of great importance within the University and across the whole higher education sector. The DVD presents different perspectives and brings into the open for discussion an issue that for many is an ‘inconvenient truth’. It also brings the discussion out from the margins and into mainstream learning and teaching within the University. We plan to add information as to how the DVD can be used to facilitate discussion within the University.
