National Teaching Fellowships
National Teaching Fellows will devise and undertake a significant program of activities that promote and support excellence in teaching and the scholarship of teaching in Australian higher education institutions.
Up to five Fellowships are available, each worth up to $350,000. It is generally expected that National Teaching Fellows commit the equivalent of one year full time to their Fellowship, between 1 July 2010 and 31 December 2011.
In 2010 a specific priority area has been identified: improving tertiary pathways. One National Teaching Fellowship will be awarded to a nominee who proposes a program of activity around this priority area.
