The Bradley Review calls on universities to:
- Enhance the participation of Indigenous students;
- Ensure the Indigenous cultural competence of staff;
- Help all students develop an understanding of Indigenous culture.
This Forum is a unique opportunity for Indigenous and non-Indigenous university staff to share exemplary teaching practices and address questions such as:
- What characterises effective Indigenous teaching?
- What is the evidence base for such effectiveness?
- How might individual teachers further enhance their current practices?
- How should universities support and manage Indigenous teaching and learning?
Sessions
Plenary speakers include: Professor Henry Atkinson, Ms Michelle Evans, Associate Professor Susan Green, Mr Chris Heelan, Dr Zane Ma Rhea, Associate Professor Susan Page and Mr Gary Thomas.
In addition to plenary sessions, staff engaged in exemplary Indigenous teaching will showcase and discuss their practices, and students will also be active participants.
